Southwest Elementary School in Geneseo. They held a Penny War in the Fifth Grade classrooms to raise some money. The fifth graders then had to select a charity and write a persuasive essay to convince the other students to vote to give the money to their respective charity. Guess you can tell Kids Against Hunger YQC won – HATS OFF to all those FIFTH GRADERS that participated in this and a special HATS OFF to the author of the essay that resulted in Kids Against Hunger getting the funds.
